I am  Blanca–blogger/owner of this site.  I am a full time teacher, reluctant widow, doting mom to a 12 year old, aspiring writer, and online contest fanatic.

Blancnotes came about because I love to take note of just about anything and everything that catches my fancy. This little space is where I  freely express and share my thoughts on matters close to my hearts.  I created this mainly to inform and inspire.

I mostly feature here people, groups, places, advocacy, brands, and products I find extraodinary. And since I want to keep this site as wholesome as possible, I only welcome sponsored giveaways, product/brand advertisements, reviews, and paid postings that promote the  same values and principles that I espouse. I firmly shy away from brands/products that directly and indirectly endorse alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, gambling and even pornography in any form.
